Employee Spotlight:
Jade Anderson

After completing his internship, Jade Anderson has accepted a Senior Advisor role at Aminad. We asked Jade to reflect on his experience and what inspired him to step into this new role.

How did the Aminad team make an impression on you early on?

My individual interactions with each person in the company, and the messages I received from people I hadn’t even met in person yet, were incredibly encouraging. When I came on board I did one-on-ones with the other Senior Advisors. I learned that each of the Advisors is completely different. They have similar backgrounds, but their viewpoints and approaches to consulting vary, and they all do it for different reasons. But the one common denominator I took away was: “Aminad is freaking awesome and I’m never leaving until they tell me I have to leave.”

What stands out to you about how Aminad operates?

I love the organization and the flow. Meetings are set up perfectly, they’re succinct, to the point, and they don’t waste anybody’s time. I also really respect how the leadership team shows up. They try to be in every meeting, but they’re not there to change the dynamic. The team knows they can trust leadership to help, assist, and guide, not take over. After being in many meetings, it’s clear that’s not just a mantra. Everybody truly lives the values, and that means the most to me.

What ultimately made you eager to accept your new role?

I was eager to sign my contract because of how much I’ve enjoyed my time and how much I respect the leadership team and the entire firm, from practitioners to operations. It’s the core values, the atmosphere, and the people. That’s why. Every single conversation I’ve had with anyone at the company has been great. They ensure that the culture and values are upheld, and there’s really no room for anything else. That’s what Aminad is all about.

How did your background translate into your work during the internship?

My expertise is in advising commanders and helping solve complex problems. With Lido and the leadership team’s guidance, we found a way to translate that into something meaningful in the consulting space. During my internship, I learned how to approach consulting the right way, how to secure a contract, work through vehicles, and partner with other companies. I’ve learned a lot and it makes me proud.

What excites you most about this next chapter?

Being happy, being part of the team, and taking the dream and turning it into something even bigger. That’s always been the reward for me.
