What do you enjoy most about your position at Aminad?

I love having the opportunity to help link Aminad’s future with my former DoD past. It’s a pleasure to represent Aminad and introduce their capabilities and culture through business development initiatives. And as a senior advisor, I thoroughly enjoy leveraging my experience and expertise in the workforce planning arena to assist with customer issues. 

 

What trends or changes do you see shaping the future of our industry?

The list is long and varied! DoD is placing more emphasis on changing technology – AI and machine learning, data science/analytics, and heavy investment in cybersecurity and autonomous (unmanned) systems. Our US military needs to adapt quickly to the shifting geopolitical landscape – rising threats of global powers, and asymmetric warfare. As practitioners, we should be constantly scanning the environment, remaining knowledgeable and poised to support our military customers where needed. As such, Aminad is focused on addressing these challenges by generating implementable change with sustainable results.

 

What do you think makes Aminad a special place to work?

The culture and the people define Aminad. The company is founded on six core values and our leadership sets the tone for the workforce from the top down. They truly care about people and demonstrate these values on a daily basis. We are committed to supporting our customers’ success through determination, generosity and kindness. How many companies can truthfully stand behind this type of values-based approach? This is what makes Aminad such a unique place and I am very proud to be a member of their team.
